Oops - just saw that Arthuer and Dorsey got traded. Still, Bayless alone made this a good draft for Portland.

I'm a big Bulls fan (so I've obviously been happy since lottery night), but the Blazers have really impressed me with what they've done in the draft. Bayless fits right in next to Roy and they got Darrell Arthur and Joey Dorsey as steals later on (not to mention they're finally getting the services of Greg Oden). That team is going to set up for a very long time.

This trade favors Milwaukee by a lot. I understand the Nets logic, but RJ can still play, and Yi is a question. That's a very good team now with Redd, RJ, Bogut, Villanueva.

I agree that in some ways this could work, Chris Bosh and JO. It has to be up to the supporting players to create chemistry, and make this franchise, which now has two all-stars, be able to climb up the ladder in the Eastern Conference. Jose Calderon will be the catalyst I believe because he will be the table setter, especially since, by trading Ford, they have no true backup. The pressure will be on him to make these two players co-exist in harmony. The Raptors now need to focus on getting a shooting guard that isn't just a spot up three point shooter like Kapono. I expect another trade for the Raptors.

The dual pf has been the formula being used by detroit since they got rid of ben wallace and possibly even before then since wallace is shorter than cb4 or J.O although obviously he's very strong. The point is that hte two players can make it work and with those two holding down the paint and calderon distributing they can focus on having wing defenders who can shoot the rock and become a pretty solid team

I agree. If he's healthy, that front line is unstoppable. Now defenses have to account for both Bosh AND O'Neal. They should be fun to watch.

two pf's, NO centre, NO wing...how's O'Neal's body language going to be from the bench for 40 games?? Don't give a sh*t about TJ but O'Neal is NOT the answer!

Toronto is going to the lottery next year.

Nothing left to root for.
